In the heart of Montreal’s Quartier des Spectacles, the OXY PDA gallery represents the organic evolution of the open-air art exhibition concept launched by Galerie Blanc in the Village. It is an innovative urban environment whose main objective is to present works by internationally renowned artists, making art accessible 24 hours a day, both day and night.

Inspired by museum exhibition principles, the gallery embodies a minimalist and refined design, largely drawing from contemporary architecture. This simplicity is intentional, providing a canvas that allows the artistic content to take center stage and easily adapt to various thematic exhibitions. The spatial layout is deliberately fragmented into distinct sections, facilitating individual assignments to each artist’s creations. Incorporating sculptures, the gallery appeals to the street while also reserving some more intimate surprises at its core. Beyond its artistic elements, the gallery is judiciously complemented by numerous seats that invite contemplation, encourage group meetings, and even welcome snacks. All of this creates a dynamic environment for residents, art lovers, and tourists. Essentially, the OXY gallery is not just an exhibition space but a dynamic community hub where the love of art converges with the pulse of urban life.
